From iVision Tech comes a revolution in accessibility: iSee One, the first assistive smart glasses entirely designed and manufactured in Italy, was officially presented at MIDO – International Eyewear Exhibition from February 8 to 10 in Milan.

An Innovation for Mobility and Safety

iSee One enables users to perceive their surroundings up to 4 meters away, detecting up to 30 obstacles thanks to advanced scanning and audio transmission technology. Ultra-lightweight (only 30 grams), intuitive to use, and equipped with photochromic lenses, these glasses represent a significant advancement in independent mobility for blind individuals.

An Italian Project with a Strong Social Mission

The result of three years of research by iVision Tech, a company based in Martignacco (Udine), iSee One was developed through collaboration with industry experts, leading technology firms, and visually impaired individuals who actively contributed to its development. Among the key figures in the project is Vincenzo Zoccano, a blind advocate and former president of the Italian Disability Forum, who supported the design team in ensuring the device meets the real needs of users.

Where to Buy

iSee One is available on the official e-commerce platform (www.isee-one.com) at a price of approximately €700, making it a more accessible option compared to similar assistive devices on the market. The long-term goal is to obtain recognition as a medical device, further enhancing its accessibility for those who need it. Discover more and come try it at MIDO!
